As Volunteers Coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting the volunteers who help run the Community Centre. This role ensures the Centre has a dedicated, motivated, and well organised volunteer team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Recruit and onboard new volunteers, ensuring a diverse and enthusiastic team.
– Provide orientation and training to ensure volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities.
– Coordinate volunteer schedules and ensure adequate coverage during all opening hours and activities.
– Offer ongoing support to volunteers, addressing any concerns and fostering a positive team environment.
– Work with Events Coordinator on organising volunteer appreciation events and ensure volunteers feel valued and included.
Skills & Qualities:
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to motivate and manage a diverse group of volunteers.
– Organisational skills to handle scheduling and volunteer coordination.
– Prior experience in volunteer management or team coordination (desirable, but not essential).
