Community Volunteer Fair – Building Connections, One Conversation at a Time
On Friday, 13 June, The Hungry Mind will host a Community Volunteer Fair—a collaborative event bringing together the many parent-led initiatives that help make our school and community thrive.
Organised in partnership with the Secondary Parents Association (PA), Primary Parents Association (PPA), Parent Connectors, Bookstore Team, and Secondary Year Reps, the fair is a relaxed and welcoming opportunity for parents and caregivers to explore ways to get involved.
Whether you’re new to the school or have been part of the community for years, the fair offers a chance to chat with current volunteers, ask questions, and find out what roles might suit your interests and availability. From occasional event support to more regular coordination roles, there’s something for everyone—no special experience required.
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, stay informed, and feel more connected to the life of the school.
The event will take place at The Hungry Mind, and all parents are warmly encouraged to drop in for a coffee and a conversation. Sometimes, it only takes one small commitment to make a big impact.
Date: Friday, 13 June
Time: 8:30-11:00
Location: The Hungry Mind
We hope to see you there!
