As Rentals Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing venue rentals for private parties, handling rental requests, managing the calendar, liaising with the Treasurer for payments, and ensuring the venue is maintained before and after rentals. Most rentals occur on weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
– Receive and respond to rental inquiries from the local community.
– Manage the rental calendar, ensuring no scheduling conflicts.
– Liaise with the Treasurer to handle payments, deposits, and rental agreements.
– Meet with potential renters to discuss terms and conditions, provide a venue tour, and explain essential rules such as fire safety procedures.
– Ensure the clubhouse is left in good condition after each rental and arrange for cleaners.
– Conduct post-rental checks to ensure everything is in order and report any issues.
Skills & Qualities:
– Strong organisational and time management skills.
– Fluency in Dutch is preferred.
– Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with potential renters.
– Basic understanding of venue management and fire safety procedures (training provided).
– Most rentals occur on weekends, so flexibility for weekend availability is required.
– Attention to detail to ensure the venue is left in good condition. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
