The Hungry Mind Community Centre opened its doors in September 2010. We are a non-profit, voluntary organisation. Our aim is to bring internationally minded people together through activities, in an environment with a very low threshold. Since our opening we have accomodated a lot of different activities and organised many functions and events.
These include:
- yoga
- jogging
- mini tennis and football clinics
- kids play ball
- chess club
- Nordic walking
- intuitive painting
- history of art lectures
- pumpkin carving
- cooking lessons
- mothers and toddlers get-togethers
- (70′s) disco parties
- theatre dinner with Plankgas’ Suitcases and Sacrifices
- a Christmas market
- lots of different birthday parties
- beauty and pampering evening
- host for oral exams for the International School of The Hague
- kick off for NL Doet March 2011
- The Hague college of Mayor and Aldermen painting outside of the clubhouse
The Hungry Mind Clubhouse is open during school days from 8.30-16.30 (closed for lunch from 11.30 – 14:00). On Fridays we are only open in the morning from 8.30-11.30.
